There is very little online about this long forgotten place. I originally thought I'd stumbled across a farmhouse. I did research and f ound out it was a pub. Here is the little information I found. The Ship Inn was situated on Saltfleet Road, opposite the junction with Churchill Lane. Now derelict. Publican in 1919 was William Brooks. Explore: Situated on a road i parked my car on the road opposite and walked to it. Jumped over the low fence then access is wherever you want it to be. It's in a very poor state which I expected from the look of it anyway. However I wasn't expecting there to be stuff still remaining. Old TVs to a dart board, wasn't a bad little explore after all. This place isn't going to survive much longer sadly which is a shame saying how long it's been there. Over 100 years! Here are the pictures I have of it Then Vs Now. In Happier Times. Now Not a complete shell though The staff quarters I'm guessing Darts Anyone? Thanks for looking. |
