Question - The South Lines Caves, Dover WH

I’ve been going to these caves for a couple of years and still don’t know what they are. I’ve heard that they may be unfinished magazines but nobody knows for sure. I have a theory that the South Front Barracks were originally meant to longer. However; that theory’s most likely inaccurate. If anyone knows or has any ideas, please tell me as I’ve been wondering for a while now.

South front barracks was up near the citadel further along, must be a report on here from the casemates. I don't know what these were used for either but it's next to what I know as the 'archcliff galleries'
