Leicester Borough Lunatic Asylum opened in 1869, later becoming Leicester City Mental Hospital. It became Towers Hospital in 1948.
The main building is now flats, if i'm correct the building we visited was the west part of the hospital.
I don't think many people have been to this part, we weren't sure if there was actually any security but either way, we weren't caught. overall a really great place to visit. Alot of long hallways which make for some good photos, easy to get lost here!

I'd recommend this one, the site is huge and has minuscule damage done to it.
By the way, most of the photo's used here are in fish-eye, sorry if anyone gets slightly annoyed about that.
