I've been working nights and although knackered i have been having trouble getting enough kip during the day due to the warm weather.
So right on cue again i wake up after about 3 hrs sleep.......shall i lay in bed getting annoyed because i can't sleep ? shall i sit outside in the sunshine ? Nah fuck it get up grab the camera and get down a drain
Last time i visited "The Works" i had wader fails and camera fail resulting in only about a third of it getting done.
So i thought i would return to finish it off at last.
The Works drain is a Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) that spills out into the River Irk, the Works is the big brother of SSSI drain further
downstream.
It has a mix of brickwork, piping and spraycrete, various twists and turns lead to the steps and penstock.
