Thorntons Belper Derbyshire visited with Hidden Shadow and Old Skool, Chocolate heaven since 1911. this was a passing visit on our way back from another site, i wasn't holding out on anything to special considering how long it's been closed and we were right the place is stripped and trashed within a inch of its life nothing of great interest and very little on original features its only the fact that Thorntons history and its still the largest independent chocolate manufacture in the UK is why i have been bothered to do a report. i wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if your passing and you have spare time then have a go.
