This place is known as the Tyne Bridge Tower - its just another of Newcastle/Gateshead's 60's concrete tower blocks, but what makes this one special is how close it is the the Tyne Bridge and the views of the Quayside and the rest of the Toon.
Its been empty since 2005 when the Inland Revenue moved out - similarly infact to the Reyrolle building which the Revenue vacated at about the same time. Its in very good nick as break ins seem to have been mostly prevented unlike the Chav'd mess at Reyrolles.
Ok on with the pics, some internal ones first then the sweet views from the roof top. If anyone is passing this place, I was on the very top beside the air con units - breathtaking view.
This is the underground car park - lots of concrete
Notice the marks in front of the chair, maybe an artist was in here drawing something, looks like pastel chalks or something.
Old BNC network point - havn't seen these used for a lot of years.
Roof top plant room
Finally North and South facing panoramas
