I've been asked to keep the name of this place quiet, so I shall. Cheers for Zero for showing them to me. My original interest in this place was the contents of the rooms, but once down there I was much more impressed with the actual structure than I thought I would be. It is of vaulted construction, which has later been devided up to form cold stores. The walls are wooden which are insulated with cork granuals. Where the wood has rotted these walls the granuals come spilling out which looks rather odd!
Most of the interesting paperwork was stored down there by what looks like a company that ran or built hotels, indicating the meat trade has been dead on the site for decades. A rummage through the stacks and stacks of paperwork revealed sme really interesting finds....
