After our recent rounds back up the cranes of Brum photographing where we had already been time had come to revisit this beauty. Myself & MrAltitude first did this crane the day after it was put up, i drove past whilst at work and seen a man standing ontop of the ladder section where the crane twits from with his hands in his pockets waiting for the jib/cab etc to be passed up and fitted. at this point i knew we had to be up there.
our first visit was easy as only this crane stood, no building had been started on the site and no security was present but now security was there although we never actually seen them..... as usual so made way up to the top.
This trip seemed to take longer to climb but was well worth it when reaching the top of the ladder. The ladder to the rear counter weight didnt see as bad this time, which is always good, Anyway on with the pics
MrA Showing off the beauty
Board declairing its height
First Views
The Cab
Looking Back down the ladder
On top of the Counter Weight
Looking thru the maze of metal
The earth always looks rounder from up high
Scary down shot
Jib and Last times climb...... Carillion Crane Behind
Hope You Enjoy, exchuse some of the photos having shake. it was pretty windy up there and the crane was swaying a fair bit
