Question - What is this? I was walking through the local wood area and spotted this.

Gents,

Not a report or anything just a couple of images I snapped of this small building when walking through a local woodland area. Not sure what it is or it's function, I got my head in to have a look. The entrance was the same as the small entrance you see in the photo.

Seen something similar in woods near Densole in Kent, unfortunately not really sure what they were but the woods were requisitioned in the war and there are various tank traps lying around.

Looks like an air raid shelter.

Air raid shelter? - Those pointed tops look "deflective"...

Not sure they're big enough. For scale they're about 2m tall. You'd have to really crouch to get in.

After a quick Google it turns out it is an old air field?

Look at the woodland area on the lower left of the image.

On closer inspection exactly where a green circle is, that's where one was. Not sure what they are.
