Had a quick look round the now legendary Whittingham Asylum today and I must say it lives up to expectations. The access used by the group a few weeks ago has been really well sealed so I had to find a new way in. To be honest, it wasn't hard.
I only had about two hours and I guess you could spend all day here. There is a demolition company onsite erecting a new improved fence and I actually saw police cars patrolling the perimeter road, the one that goes past the water tower. I guess this is because of the high security unit next door.
I enjoyed this site very much and would like to go back when I have more time.
