Despite being near a built up area, the post is situated next to a minor road and for some reason feels like its really out of the way. It used to be open but had a weird security plate in the shaft which prevented access, but things have now changed somewhat! Last year it was sold at auction, and since then the compound has been tidied, and a shiny new super secure hatch fitted. Will be interesting to see what happens with this one, i've no idea who purchased it or what they are doing with it.
