I started my day at 0700, myself and a non member set off in search of a military scrap yard in a small town next to Düsseldorf. We arrived at around 0930 in Kamp-Lintfort and was left scratching are heads looking for this place, after an hour or two we decided to accept defeat! We then sat and had a look at other options of what we could do so it was not a wasted journey over a maccies breakfast.
After doing a little research I managed to see pictures of the World Expo that had been held in Germany in 2000 and now left to crumble, we then made the two and a half hour drive to Hannover. Arriving on the outskirts of Hannover we immediately seen the building and wasted no time in parking up and getting in and climbing up the stripped carcass of the building, 20 minutes had gone past and we was roughly half way up the building when we heard a van pull up only to see Germany’s answer to secca and we knew the game of cat and mouse was on! We managed to avoid zee Germans and get out without being captured. As we jumped in the car to make a getaway we gave the the security a complimentary toot of the horn and a wave as set off home.

Expo 2000 was a World's Fair held in Hanover, Germany from Thursday, June 1 to Tuesday, October 31, 2000. It was located on the Hanover fairground (Messegelände Hannover), which is the largest exhibition ground in the world. Initially some 40 million people were expected to attend the exhibition over the course of months, however eventually with less than half of this number the fair was a flop and turned out a financial failure.
