THE EXPLORE
After sooo many attempts to try and get into this place I finally found a way in after looking around the whole site for a way in I finally got my chance (not via the roof lol) had a good hour or so exploring.. it's well trashed but other than that was a good night explore.
The Old Batley and District General Hospital

We're not too far removed from Crissis deacon's brilliant report of this place, but here's my interpretation from my visit in early March 2020.

HISTORY
Construction began on a hospital located on Carlinghow Hill...
History:
The year was 1954 and the local city where this place is located faced a major problem. The current hospital which dated back to the begin of the 1900s was outdated and too small. After this problem, plans were made to build a new state of art hospital. In 1958 it was finished, for the...
Hey guys! This is my first ever post on here so go easy on me please. ☺
I’ve been exploring for about 10 years now, just never posted any of my photos on here! So here goes nothing.
History
The facility was opened as the Glossop Union Workhouse in 1837. An infirmary building was subsequently...
Disclaimer: I don’t do reports very often and all photos are taken on an iPhone. It’s just really to show people who might have never been or are wondering the current state.
History: it’s been done to the death on here so I won’t go in to detail it’s also well documented all over the internet...
Clifton Fever Hospital
Brighouse, West Yorkshire
February 2020
HISTORY
In the summer of 1892, Brighouse became a ghost town. Streets were deserted, schools were closed and church attendances drastically plummeted. The reason for the panic was an epidemic of smallpox, the most dreaded of...
The St Thomas's Hospital Medical School in Lambeth was founded in 1550, but underwent an extensive building programme between 1693 and 1709 where all of the hospital's wards were extended and over 300 more beds were added. It was also around this time that medical training was formalised at the...
New member first post. :D
Visited Mid Wales Hospital in Talgarth this summer, lots of working CCTV and people driving past constantly but got a few pictures. Wasn't planned so sadly they're just taken on my phone but was still good fun looking around! Easily accessible but cameras point at near...
Hello everyone,
My desire is to dedicate this forum to help all those who live in the Northern Ireland Area to find places to explore.
Please feel free to comment any known locations!
Let's get a bit of repour going.
Thank you
I saw this place mentioned on the "Leads, Rumours..." board 4 years ago, but didn't hear anything more about it.
So this week, when we failed to get into another location in London, we thought we'd give this place a quick look to see if it was possible.
It look about 30 seconds to work out how...
Explore:
little remains inside the building with very few items shining light on the original use of the building.
the main attraction left is the level of decay of the building, paint stripping from the walls, water and fire damage etc.
not too much else to say about the explore as it was...
The asylum is now part demolished and renovated. There is a photo included of the renovated building, apologies for the bad quality and lighting. The same fate is to happen to the chapel so I'm glad I got to see it pre renovation and get a sense of the history.
History:
"The foundation stone...

access to Nocton hall can be a bit varied, although it is not very overlooked in most parts and there doesnt really seem to be any security, the fences are well maintained and any holes are normally patched.
after a bit of walking around we managed to find easy access (albeit through a...
This interesting find has had many uses but is still known to this day as a Fever Hospital.
Opened in 1902 as a fever isolation hospital- treating illnesses such as scarlet fever, diphtheria and meningitis. The Fifeshire Typhoid epidemic in 1903 ensured that the hospital was full to capacity...
HOSPITAL:
There's really very little to note about this place as I only did the morgue because of time purposes and having other places to do later in the day, but it closed in 2016 and the decay shows that pretty well, as there's no graffiti inside, but peeling paint in some parts. I don't have...
Another place that was super trashed by the time i had reached it, there was still plenty to look at despite the fact the metal men and the idiot had all ready been in.
some history on the place:
During the First World War, this hospital and another was established in Manchester as a Red Cross...
ROYAL PAPWORTH HOSPITAL:
So this place closed only 2 weeks before I visited this place, and so I had the good fortune of being able to see this place in its full untouched glory!
A new premises was built for this place very nearby and so this entire campus shut and was left to waste space and...
I know there have been a LOT of reports on here for Hayworth House, but strangely I've not seen any photos from the other buildings on site. So I thought I would post a few.
Access is very easy for all except one, which took us a while to work out.
Enjoy the pics :-)
History
The hospital dealt with patients with ADHD and I believe it was left abandoned in 2017.
I have heard that planning permission has been approved but not overly certain when that is actually going to take place.

As we arrived at a near by carpark, it was hammering it down with...
This is my 1st post but not my 1st explore.
I visited Denbeigh asylum today! 10-05-19
It was a wet wet day to say the least.
Gaining access was very easy as there is new metal gating and security boxes on site.
I did not see on other person there.
The buildings are beautiful it’s just a...
