Bedford or Cambridge? Or are they to small either way doubt I'll be here for them
In terms of exploring-type stuff they're aren't best of places. That being said, most Anglian and Bedfordshire towns/cites also quite awkward to get to if you're not driving and often don't have much to do.
You're better off with London or something in the Midlands.

The plan is Birmingham for the anniversary meet but that won't be until later in 2025 so feel free to organise somthing in the spring as well. I used to love going to the smaller towns personally. We just used to pick places that were near explores people might want to do find the nearest spoons and a travelodge and go for the weekend. People put alot more work into planning stuff nowerdays but tbh the Huddersfield one we did last year was just as good. Met in pub. Got pissed. Went home. Important thing was we met a few new people and caught up with some old faces too.

I like the idea of smaller towns yknow, and something with a group explore in mind and a characterful pub in mind too
