I recently visited the main building and managed to climber up through one on the hoppers it was a giant room with a large ladder leading to the top. Quite sketchy getting up there but is a great view from the top.

Yes I agree I expected for there to be control rooms and all sorts but sadly not just a large empty room with a ladder.
Exactly lol when I saw Martin Zero’s video on it I expected something interesting, maybe a couple lockers or a control panel or at least an electrical box, although with a bit of angling I feel the big concrete frames could be nice

Although I bet it feels good to be one of the few people to ever go up in person

Yes I have been a few times looking up and wondering if it was possible. Eventually I used my head and got up there expecting some really cool stuff sadly no but I was happy there was a ladder because it would of been impossible to get up.

From looking around I guessed I must be the first and it felt good. 😎 I still question how the building operated because there where holes on the top floor as if they would drop things down there.

I’m gonna guess the big empty area was the silos for the hoppers given how it has nothing but the framework, could’ve been a conveyor going to the top from the crusher house? Not sure where it would’ve entered as I’ve watch some drone footage but hey it’s old stuff you never know how these sort of places actually worked

And to be fair I do think you’d be one of the first, especially as you said you went up through the hopper, that takes balls
