The beater hall was my favourite bit

And this little office. It's almost a carbon copy of my office. Except mine is more untidy and in more need of redecorating.

Makes me think of how many rare or unique machines are just going to vanish into scrap after this, the Bertram beater hall is a great example as if I remember right, they’re very old and not common, or the Wood digesters

Yeah. And the 2 main paper machines in the roller room which apparently dated back to the early 20s when the mill was built, they were made by a local engineering firm. I’m not sure who though

This really must be one of the biggest exploring losses the country has had in the last few years, I really, really should have done it at some point - not doing so is a big regret.
