Bloody hell! I wandered round here the other year and thought it seemed like a total writeoff - everything heavily boarded up and didn't look like there was much left unused or empty anyway. I stand corrected, this is fantastic stuff with tons of interesting finds. Nice work.

Fun fact: the 'P' in W.P. Hartley stands for 'Pickles'.

Gained access into a area at the back of the factory where the new railway lines run behind seems to A smaller manufacturing area with freight lift etc...

This is the top of the conveyor belt pictured in the original post which is caged off but still running!!

however I was here with work and most areas are now secured with cctv and alarms systems so wouldn’t advise going here anymore I’ll be working here for a while refurbishing areas into gyms, offices, ect so let me know if youse want any photos before the last bit of history is covered up... big plans for the site in the future though!

What a cracker. Whats not to like. A bit of everything nearly. Love the frontage, the basement has some amazing shadow light, the metalwork on levels, the brickwork elsewhere, the decay all over, topped off with some very ornate woodwork! Smashing comparisons photos & write up. Hits the spot with me
