Found this on the internet, a collection of photos of abandoned places around the world. Most of these I'm sure people on here know already - Prypyat (Ukraine), Gunjankima (Japan), etc but there's a few I have never heard of.

Time to book those air tickets me thinks.

I've always fancied seeing the old mining towns in the states. I think some are a bit touristy though, like Bodie.
