It had been a few years since I'd last been to this particular stretch of the Moston Brook, so met up with TheVicar one sunny afternoon to take a look.
I've seen reports previously from here about the pikey metal stripping operation but seeing it firsthand was something else. Every ladder, rail and bolt holding them down was gone, such a shame as all of the chambers above the culvert, that interact with the parallel sewer, were generally inaccessible.
