The Processor - Manchester
Originally discovered by siologen over a decade ago. Potters Lane, Combined Sewer Overflow to give it it's official name is a culverted section of Moston Brook,
running just under 2 miles through a 3m RBP, She's an interesting mix of brick, into concrete, and back into brick again, with two processing units and an inspection chamber along the way.
After a short night-time stroll through the ghetto we reached the Infall and made our way in and downstream towards the first of the processor chambers.
You can just make out the high tide line at just over 4 feet, although I'm sure it's been even higher, it's
certainly slippy enough as I found out out with a 'spill' early on
From brick to this rather uninspiring concrete box section in towards the first CSO and poo processing unit
Note the studs in the concrete where the ladders had been angle ground off by our pikey friends
Hard to believe the Pikeys had tried to rip out the processing machinery
One of two large inspection chambers about, this one roughly marks the halfway point
The first section of ladders within the inspection chamber, leading upto a second ladder and a small inspection
chamber and manhole
I don't think anyone will be using this inspection ladder any time soon

After our 2 mile trapse, we finally arrive at the outfall to begin our trek back through the less desirable
parts of town dressed as fishermen
