I think the area behind the green fencing may have been for the more dangerous or violent offenders who needed to be kept seperated, or for the safety of those who did terrible crimes like venables who were in the secure unit, if they were all mixed in together would be a powder keg. The site is very interesting indeed!

Nicely reported. Was in there recently, thinking we were on our own too so had a bit of a shock when we got out the secure unit building behind the 20ft fences to see that the gates had been closed and appeared locked! Thankfully just closed over and bolted!
