The sheave wheel and its assoceated outbye end in the pit are apparnatley the longest system in the area, the old truck chassis and diesl engine are for haulage as well, but I am not sure if that was used undergrond or topside.

I dont doubt that, can't think of another mine like it.

Its a shame they never completed the scheme to connect it directly to the ffestiniog railway, would have left much more of the mine accessible - plus it would have saved much of the walk up Cwm Orthin
