Both, it appears to drop off into some rather glupy tidal fudge, I dipped my leg in and it wasn't pleasant, I know GE once almost got stuck in that section and made a lucky escape
Also the lel levels were really high, the CH4 was over 30ppm beyond the yellow brick section, (just before that silver ring), you can just about see how far I got with the footsteps, it was also difficult to walk in
I'd hate for someone to get stuck in there, the gases alone though were enough for me to retreat

And why can't you head down that final section in towards blackfriars bridge? Just cos it's gassy and minging or does it drop off at a big step or something?
