Visited this place today with Delongid95, Gorecki, Cuban bloodhound, Maden_2, Foz101 and Wolfism!
Delongid95 knew heaps about the hospital's history and was also able to explain the different equipment and ward situations etc which was a real good insight.
Went to check out Baldovan house as well, although there's not much left nowadays!
The hospital was primarily a children's asylum for most of it's working life. The toys scattered everywhere and the famous ''world's tiniest toilet'' (Which we never saw this time!) accounted for this!
Quite a tardis!!
Looking from one of the buildings at the top of the site:
The Hall and kids paintings
Entrance hall
Small classroom
One of the wards! 'Accomodation units' in rows where people could spend many years! The Whittingham video shows this sort of situation in use!
Ladysbridge hospital all over again!!
ward
office with computers / type writers
The kids version
Ward lights
Banister with railings
