CCTV doesn't bother me, I've explored places with alarms blaring before, doesn't bother me

That all good till police turn up and try do.us for trespassing
I've been caught by the police many times and they just take details and ask you to leave, if your worried about getting done for tresspass, you are in the wrong hobby...

The cctv was put there because people from the secondary school kept trying to get in after school , The police station is only 1 minute away if even that.

My first report here. I had heard about a big old school that had shut down in the NE and I had to give it a visit. Unfortunately most of it was stripped out ready for renovation. I was hoping for ghosts but the only thing that spooked me were the horrible little motion sensors which were everywhere. Still a pretty cool trip overall. I took some photos on my 35mm too and I'll post some if any good ones turn out once I get them developed.

History

The Duke of Northumberland's school was founded in 1810 and opened in 1811 in Green Batt, Alnwick for the education of one hundred boys. The present school building was opened as a secondary school in 1903 and it was adopted by the LEA in 1919. After the county re-organisation for comprehensive education in 1974 it became one of the middle schools in Alnwick. The school shut in 2017 and there are plans to turn it into accommodation.

Just wanted to say - this was my old school, too. I'd love to be able to go in but the security is wayyy stepped up now. It was nice to be able to see it before the Duke converts it to luxury flats, though. I'm 100% using these pics as inspiration for a mock up Phasmophobia map and a ton of stories!

I get how many will find these really cool (which they are) but for me this report is really depressing. I went to school here a number of years ago and I was sat with my friend today and we were able to identify just about every room. Knowing how it looked when I went and seeing the dump it's become now due to neglect breaks my heart. It wasn't a perfect school but it was quaint and charming, and now that's been taken away from it. It's really weird seeing it again from the inside after roughly a decade lol

Lovely building that is and some super nice shots, I for one are more than happy to see these buildings go to the developers instead of rotting away / getting trashed.
