Thanks for a very interesting report. You have put a lot into all the visits and writing this brilliant report.

One question: was there any sign of life down there? Any fish or bats, maybe I havent understood well enough, but fish seem to get into some amazing places. Possibly an otter taking a shortcut, and almost certain to be rats.

Don't remember seeing any fish in there but its tidal so there may be some. Saw an otter once. Must've been a few hundred meters in from the infall and it scurried away up a side pipe when i approached it. Maybe this is what you heard @symbiont Yeah there's rats in there, mostly by the brick sewer overflow. Plenty of pigeons at the entrances but didn't see much else
