Bit late to reply to this, I live within minutes of this place and yes, have some info regarding the place (albeit minimal) and about 50+ photos.
starting with your above info, yes correct the Mr Taylor died in 2011, his wife as far as I am aware still alive and now lives towards oxford - the house was left in 2011 after some issues within the family (dont know too many details regarding these issues) the house was totally untouched from 2011 until it was auctioned off in 2017 to another local guy. The house still had absolutely everything inside, including clothes in the wardrobe, food in the fridge (I’ll let you guys imagine the smell ) the TV was still on standby, it literally looked as if someone had just popped out for a walk and never returned. All the vehicles that belonged to Mr Taylor were in the garages and all around the land.
Shortly after the auction the house was cleared, the what was once incredibly overgrown frontage totally redone, including new fencing, gravel and just opening up the whole area, the property was then put back up for sale in 2018 and apparently sold, however who now owns it is a mystery. A few rumours surround the guy who bought the place in 2017, some to do with planning problems, arguments with the industrial park next door etc etc (how true I’m unsure)
the house is now what seems abandoned once again and is slowly starting toget back into abit of a state, which is a shame as the people clearing the site (I am friends with these people) spend 6+ weeks on just clearing it.
i will dig out some of the photos I took back in 2017 and share them.
if people do plan on visiting here being quiet is a must, 24/7 security from the industrial estate next door monitor the place and will call the police without hesitation.
