Thankyou for the report. I hope the local historical societies, heritage and council authorities also took the trouble to create a photographic record prior to demolition. These buildings were originally constructed by F.E.Baker Pty Ltd as a manufacturing site for Precision motorcycle engines. It was used for the manufacture of armaments during World War One and then under partnership, the Beardmore Precision motorcycle. Beardmore went bankrupt in 1924 and in 1927 the site was sold to Triplex. Shame to see history erased but some call it progress!
