I've not done very much exploring this year compared to previous years, mostly due to obvious 2020 reasons. But also partly due to moving to Gloucestershire late last year, so exploring has taken a slight backseat while we adjust to life in the West country. That said, I've managed a few places between lockdowns and work.

Gloucester GPSS oil Dept:
While this was no epic, it was special because it was a totally unknown place that I stumbled upon by accident. You can imagine the glee I felt when the graffiti filled shells I'd expected to find turned out to be multiple bunker entrances.

RAF Upper Heyford
Just before lockdown #1, me and @mookster spent a day exploring Oxfordshire. While many of the other locations weren't a total success, we did end up at RAF Upper Heyford, somewhere mooks was very familiar with. It's one of these places that despite being around for many years, is still a great way to spend an hour or so.

Hopefully next year sees some more exploring action!

We did see some fun stuff this year, RAF Upper Heyford really is one of my happy places.
