This evening was an interesting learning experience in Wide Angles Get Your Camera Wet When The Tide's Coming In. Eventually I learnt my lesson, walked off then got the 50mm out later and shot this.

f8, 90s, ISO200, taken around 10pm by moonlight on the coast south of Folkestone, UK.

Did you use a ND Filter for that?

Seem to be having a lot of problems with flare. What might be causing it / what can I do about it?

shoot two frames and meter one for the highlights and one for the shadow and blend em together in pictureshop
