Think the tiled entrance is gone already, no doubt the lamps will of been stripped too so given the doubled fence & ramped up security hardly worth it now

It's taken them nearly Nine years to get to this point of actually doing something with it, so that's a good thing...

Quality photos mate, looks like one of those places with plenty of atmosphere. I've been meaning to have a crack at this place for years. I never seem to get around to the places closer to home.

After visiting the A&E side of the hospital + mortuary earlier in the year (see here) @Saltburndan1971 kindly offered to give me a tour of the rest of the place, which was something I couldn't say no to! Would've been nice to do it all in one hit rather than chipping away at it for ages, but beggars can't be choosers. In the end the only bits we didn't manage were the old nurses accommodation as the link corridor is breeze-blocked at each end and the laundry as we ran out of light!

I found the operating theatres much nicer on this side rather than the more modern ones above the A&E

Nice to finally see the chapel, even though it had been stripped out some time ago

Finally we had a look around the boilerhouse, it was really nice but the light was pretty much gone by this point

Always love seeing pics of this place to think how long it’s been sitting derelict just doesn’t feel that long ago at all as remember wondering through corridors to go grab a coffee whilst waiting for X-ray or for an appointment of some kind

Its extremely unlikely that there is one anymore!!!
Plus if u do get in there is very little of any interest left as they have started demo so its pointless
